A lovely story of a young girl dealing with
the loss of her much-loved horse. At school, she daydreams of Cleo. When her

One year after the death of Jessie’s
much-loved horse, Cleo and she is still heartbroken. So, when she’s told to
write a story in her English lesson, Jessie creates a magical tale about a Wish
Fairy that can grant wishes.
The trouble is … things don’t go exactly to
plan when to Jessie’s surprise, her paper Wish Fairy drawing becomes real, and
there is only one wish that she truly wants… For her golden girl, Cleo to come
back to life.

the Author:
Genna
Rowbotham was born in Sheffield in 1972 where she grew up with her parents, two
older sisters, and their beloved family dog, Henry. Her career began in the
secretarial field until becoming a full-time Mum. Inspired by her children in
2017, she began writing stories for pleasure and is now the author of six children’s
books.
Genna has
five children (two now grown-up) and lives in Derbyshire with her husband and
their three young girls.
