Making the best use of your time. My ideas.

I received the email below from Women Only Connected.com and it made me think about what I tend to do. How do I manage to keep an eye on everything that needs to be done and still make time for myself and my family as well as getting all the work done? First, here is the email I received. My first book in the series is now finally available #permafree!

Afternoon everyone,

I have some exciting news for you. My first book 'Captive Love' is now finally available #permafree on Kobo, ScribD, Apple and some other platforms (more are still being published including Barns and Noble). I hope this will help my books become a bit more widely known.
I also hope that you will be able to help me a little. Please, if you like my books, take a minute to review them on Amazon and/or GoodReads. That way other people will also know what my books are like.
Book 5 is nearing completion, the first edit is finished and I am now looking for some reviewers and beta readers to help me finalise the book fully. Finally!

I was starting to wonder if I would ever finish my fifth book. Although I had finished writing the book, I could just not get myself to start on the editing process and to start preparing it for publication. Okay, I'm not ready to publish it quite yet, but I have finally finished the first edit and this should hopefully mean that I will be able to get it published later this month. I'm not yet sure if I will make this one available in Dutch as well.

 

Sorry that I have taken this long to get to this stage, but I had to battle a minor bout of depression and self-doubt before I could get back to work. Life isn't always how we would like it to be. I'm mostly back to being me again and I will start on getting the proofreading and second edit done in the not too distant future as well as preparing it for publication. Keep your eyes out for 'Holiday Love', the fifth book in my 'Friends, family and love' series.
