Short
Summary of the book:
The author attempts to change the reader’s
perception of what is and isn’t good enough. This is a book aiming to
strengthen the reader’s self-belief. The author does so with clear language and
bible quotes.
What
I liked about the book:
The belief we are all good enough.
What
I didn’t like about the book:
This wasn’t quite the type of book for me.
Although the principle is good – after all, too many people just don’t feel
they are good enough – the book was a little too touchy-feely and religious for
me. But that is personal.
My
favourite bits in the book:
The book helped to strengthen the reader’s
self-belief.
My
least favourite bits in the book:
The many references to the bible.
Any
further books in the series? Any more planned by this author?
I’m not aware of other books by this author.
What
books could this be compared to and why?
Self-help books can be rather tough going to
read. This one was easy to read rather than a tough read.

Description by Author:
A pursuit for perfection may drive you to do
more, have more and be more—but at what cost?
In Cracked Mirror, Clear Reflection, author
and life coach Julie Barbera invites you on a journey from fear and doubt to
discover your confidence. After struggling with an illusion of whom and what
she should be, clear reflections in her cracked mirror gave her the courage to
take a chance.
Freedom is on the other side of
expectations—freedom from a feeling of not being good enough, fear of what
others think and a need to be perfect to begin new projects. You will learn how
to do what you love, love what you do and live a life of purpose. You can
become who God has called you to be.
Perfection is an illusion. Despite the
cracks, your reflection can be clear. When you look in the mirror, in
weaknesses you may find your greatest strengths—and this is the clearest
reflection of all.
