Short
Summary of the book:
This is one of several books and stories I
have read by this author. In ‘One Christmas’ the author tells us the story of
not one, but two Christmasses. A story that is relatable to many people around
the world. What happens to a family when their loved one dies around Christmas?
How can you make Christmas a festive season again?
What
I liked about the book:
The book is relatable and you know this can
happen in real life too.
What
I didn’t like about the book:
The bridge between the start and the end of
the book could have been explored a little further. It felt like I turned
around for a moment and missed something that happened.
My
favourite bits in the book:
I loved the book in its entirety.
My
least favourite bits in the book:
I enjoyed the book in its entirety.
Any
further books in the series? Any more planned by this author?
The author has written more books in this
series and several other books and short stories.
What
books could this be compared to and why?
I can’t think of other books to compare it
to, although the style is recognisable for this author.
