Book
Description by Author:
"The world can be a scary place and to
Danny everything was scary, and I do mean everything! From bikes and bugs to
burgers - and those are just the B words - Danny has a whole alphabet of fears.
Danny was afraid because the mean and nasty yellow dragon had stolen his brave,
and of course he was too afraid to ask for it back. But then the unthinkable
happens and the biggest, most horrible dragon of them all steals not only
Danny's dad's brave but his dad too! So Danny has no choice but head into the
dark forest to find the dragon and confront his fears. Join Danny on an epic
quest where he meets frightening forest creatures and dragons along the way,
only to discover that true courage is already inside of us."
About
the Author:
I was born
and raised in Calgary, Alberta Canada where I still reside. I grew up working
at the racetrack with my fathers horses.
It has long
been my dream to start a small press focusing simultaneously on books for
children struggling with behavioural/complex needs issues and adult and YA
fantasy.
I have been
writing for as long as I can remember and working with children dealing with
behavioural issues for over a decade. It seemed appropriate to combine my two
passions, children and writing. To this end I began Burroughs Manor Press and
the website www.solvingbehaviour.com.
I have a deep
love of anything fantasy and am an avid reader. I have read Lord of the Rings
over a hundred times in my life.
