Short Summary of the book:

This short read tells us the story of widowed Lady Susan looking for a suitable match for her young daughter and using intrigue and promise of an affair to achieve this. The only thing she appears interested in is status and the promise of an easy life for herself.

What I liked about the book:

This is an easy-read and

What I didn’t like about the book:

The use of swear words which I felt was unnecessary. It is the reason I deducted a star.

My favourite bits in the book:

The entire book was easy to read and entertaining.

My least favourite bits in the book:

I felt sorry for Lady Susan’s daughter for having to deal with her mother’s manipulations.
