Overall score:

I scored this book 5/5

Short Summary of the book:

This book is the conclusion of a third-part series, and I’m sad it’s now complete. Ilan is home after his operation. Jennifer finds it hard to adapt and trust him again. Why? Not the betrayal of taking a mission when he promised he wouldn’t, but instead what he did in a dream.

She continues to work for Mossad in the hope of catching killers and terrorists by exploring their dreams.

Will she be successful? Will her marriage survive? Will she remain safe?

What I liked about the book:

It was action-packed and full of unexpected twists and turns.

What I didn’t like about the book:

There was nothing to dislike other than the fact it’s the last in the series.

My favourite bits in the book:

The entire book.

My least favourite bits in the book:

That it was the end of the series.

Any further books in the series? Any more planned by this author?

This is the third book I’ve read by this author, and understand this is the last in the series. This leaves me wondering what the future now has in store for this couple. I hope the author will continue to write hair-raising books like she has in this series.

What books could this be compared to and why?

This is a contemporary fiction novel with a hint of the paranormal and some spy novel elements. You can’t really compare it to any other.

Recommendation:

In summary, I would recommend this book to the following readers:

No

Young Adult

Possibly

Adult

Book Description by Author:

After using her unique lucid dreaming ability to rescue Ilan, and prevent a major terrorist atrocity, Jennifer Ben-Levi is forced to join Dream Catcher - a top secret program Mossad devised to spy on people through their dreams.

By day she fights to save her marriage, learning to forgive Ilan and fall in love with him again.

By night she creeps into the minds of the criminals, the terrorists and the traitors.

She is making the world a safer place.

But the cost might be her marriage.

About the Author:

I live on the beautiful Ards peninsula in Northern Ireland with my husband and our two furbabies.

I'm an avid fan of motorcycle racing (MotoGP and WSB) and Formula 1, having attended 33 live F1 races at various circuits in Europe. over the last 20+ years.

Reading has always been a hobby of mine and I love nothing better than escaping into the world between the pages. A couple of years ago, the seed of an idea came to me. I ran with it, purely for fun, and Rapid Eye Movement was born. Out of that came The Dreaming and, hopefully, the third and final part - Dreamcatcher - will be released sometime in 2022. Depending on the weather! I can't sit indoors when the Northern Irish weather takes a turn for the better.
